You strayed many a time from your path
how you desperately wanted to come back
He helped you do it from his love within you
when you again strayed, his love persisted.
Repenting and confessing you do come to Him
your thoughts, your actions, He very well knows
He is as much a part of you as you are of Him
and how glad would He be if you stuck with Him.
He knows beforehand as the wheel of time
rolls with you as one of the so many spokes
remember He is the charioteer within you
who can steer you out of danger and to safety…
