Like a singing arrow it darted
a flurry of feathers as it parted
ways with us till it was noted
a bird that was so much doted.
Its disappearance made it voted
as carefree and yet so muted
for nobody cared when it tweeted
how fast from memory it fleeted…

It’s among the cutest birds and I really miss sparrows! Though I am able to see them sometimes.
I agree. Luckily we are able to feed it in Bahrain along with the Arabian dove…
